Introduction

One of my email addresses – chris@pdaverticals.com – has been Joe-jobbed.

Joe-Jobbing is when a spammer uses your email address to send spam. The term is named after Joe Doll, who was the first person it happened to (follow that link to read about his situation).

My situation isn't quite like Joe's, as I don't think there's any malice involved in spammers using my address, it's just one they picked. To the best of my knowledge, the address never existed before a couple of months ago, when I started working for PDA Verticals. However, I regularly get bounce messages that suggest that it's reasonably well used.

So, if you get a spam message from chris@pdaverticals.com then I'm sorry. It's not me, and there's not much I can do about it.
