When leading digital TV technologist Pace needed a user interface for the launch of an Advanced Set-Top Box, they came to Duo. Pace wanted the UI to show off the features of the box which distinguished it from their lower-spec offerings.

Since the Set-Top Box was to be displayed at a trade show, surrounded by other digital TV decoders, we chose to emphasise the textual and graphical content over the TV display. News headlines were rotated across the bottom of the display and press information was presented in large type to attract passers-by.

Email client.

In addition to the base pages, Duo implemented a full-featured Internet email client to demonstrate the box's integrated Cable Modem. Users at the show could also move from the internal user interface out onto the World-Wide Web, using the integrated browser.
